IIS supplies many materials utilized in Awning/Tent applications that meet the standards for Flame Resistance fabrics, including woven, vinyls, and mesh. To be deemed flame resistance, these materials are tested and must meet certain criteria by the California State Fire Marshall, such as Class A, Title 19, NFPA-701, and ASTM E-84. Flame resistance fabrics require a permit for installation in commercial jobs. Some of the leading flame resistance materials we offer include Firesist®, WeatherMax®80, Ultrashade Plus, Textilene® plus, Sunsure®plus, Textilene®80/90.

IIS supplies leading woven, vinyl, and mesh products which meet the requirements for Flame Resistance materials. These fabrics are used in commercial applications where a permit has to be issued for the job. These materials have to be tested and certified meeting the requirements to be considered flame retardant. These fabrics which are often utilized in Awning/ Tent applications must meet standard test criteria by the California State Fire Marshall, such as Class A, Title 19, NFPA-701, and ASTM E-84. IIS offers polyester woven fabrics (e.g. Firesist®, WeatherMax® FR), vinyls (e.g Ultrashade Plus, Inno-Brite, Nite-Lite®, Eradi-Lite®, Eradicolor and Colorkote®), and mesh fabrics (e.g. Textilene® plus and Sunsure® plus) that have been certified as flame resistant materials.
